I quite like Lucy Manning, she's reported other untouchable things in the past and does it in a calm way. It did sound as though Tarquin was referred to as a "trans activist" and not trans. So because he was also referred to as "she" it makes GL's action sound worse.
I think the subject has been outlawed from higher up, not necessarily the very top, and they reported this for two reasons. 1 is that some in the beeb think his arrest shows toxicity from the GC side, so to them it proves their point, and 2 they couldn't ignore it this time because it's been such a big story it would look too deliberate if they didn't cover it.
I support Graham's intentions but not always his methods. But I can appreciate he's been at this for a very long time and has had some awful treatment from Tra's.

What’s drag got to do with Trans?

Has anyone from the TRA side ever ended up arrested or in court for incitement to violence or harassment or abuse?? Plenty of examples on X, Instagram, and in the streets with placards.

No connection whatever between blokes in womanface and trans identified men, obviously.

Well, yes, everyone who has been following the case he came back to the U.K. for does. There’s a series of threads starting with the arrest but then continued into covering the trial so far. sorry, realised that probably sounded snippy but there’s a lot of coverage - long story short the context is the phone belongs to one of the transactivists who persistently harasses Glinner and various gc women.

Thanks, in future I'll make sure I diligently research everything myself before attempting to cheerfully join in a discussion about something I'm interested in but don't know every last detail of. Lesson learned.
