This is Zack Polanski, new leader of the Green Party. Seriously, who votes for these clowns? 🤡

Clowns with simplistic messages are unfortunately popular. See brexit, immigration, echr.

I wonder how many people he would need to hypnotise to reverse climate change. If we all tried very hard with our mind vibes.

Its an obvious solution to the trans issue too. Hypnotise people into actually becoming the opposite sex. (Though that might count as conversion therapy.)

It would be nice if they actually talked about climate change at all, as they seem to have completely forgotten what their party is actually for.

In fairness, the media inc newspapers, don't find climate change as salacious as women pitched against trans people. If only they were covering all this for the right reasons, but mainly it's just for clicks.
His "no you shouldn't kick a woman in the balls" on Nicky Campbell's show was just as pitiable. Women don't have balls Zack. I bet Campbell nearly fell off his chair.

Another extremely disappointing political ’leader’ and, more worryingly, one that won by a landslide.

What is wrong with Green Party members that they’d vote for this person who seemingly has little knowledge, credibility or even intentions to campaign on environmental issues? He’s publicly stated that under his leadership, the party will focus on “redistributing wealth, funding public services, and calling out the genocide in Gaza".

This is not a political party focusing on environmental issues. It’s been cuckoo’ed and transformed into another left of centre broad spectrum multi issue party. Politics in the uk feels like musical chairs now. So someone with environmental knowledge had better start a new party but shame the catchy name of ‘green’ can’t be used.

Anyone else find this man quite sinister and creepy?

No way would I be letting that man hypnotise me, I certainly wouldn't want to be in a state of induced unawareness around him, or in a suggestive state either!

And then there's the ridiculousness of "hypnotism can grow your breast size" 🙄 Unscientific bunkum!

HelenaWaiting · 04/09/2025 09:18

This is my issue with the Greens. To quote Logan Roy, they're "not serious people."

GingerBeverage · 04/09/2025 09:23

The Greens (everywhere) seem to have fallen victim to the same situation as Stonewall. They had one thing they focused on, and then that thing became accepted mainstream.
But they couldn’t just cease existing so they looked for other things to champion.
The problem is if you call your party the Greens, it does come with the general public expectation that is what you will be about.
Not boobs.

KkkIt · 04/09/2025 09:37

À thing I am struggling to understand is how the alienation and commodification of the human body is compatible with the rest of the green agenda. I know environmentalists who oppose the contraceptive pill and Hrt because of the risk of adding oestrogen to rivers and drinking water. How do those people share a party with those demanding "trans health care" in its usual format.

Cosmosforbreakfast · 04/09/2025 14:29

The Green Party aren't going to last much longer, are they?

BTT · 09/09/2025 20:51

Can he make glaciers bigger using his mind?

😂 if only!

Zak is very loquacious. He fills up all the airspace and doesn't leave room for awkward supplementary questions. He gives lots of ' copy'. Media ppl love that. See Trump and Farage. The polar opposite of Starmer. And he has a free hit on lots of subjects because he isn't going to be PM soon ...or ever. Thus he slips in the poison pellet ...' trans erasure'. Though surely he's too clever to actually believe that's a thing.....

Pretty clear he is a true believer from the way he talks about it in interviews and debates. Thing is he never confronts anyone so far capable of tying him up in knots about it. You know ask him about stuff like rapists, sports, Cass Review or prisons. Or whether he accepts the Supreme Court decision. However that can't last.
