Good!

Plenty of English school toilet policies still not complying mind you ffs, and I’m sure Welsh and Irish

I like this quote from the head of the council's legal services, lets hope others are paying attention:
“Ourselves, a firm of solicitors, junior counsel and King’s Counsel all came back with the same view,” he said. “These issues have been looked at by the Supreme Court, which is obviously the primary authority in the United Kingdom and therefore the opinions we have are based on that decision. I think the legal advice is clear. I don’t, frankly, think it’s an evolving debate.”

Thanks Igne and another good from me. Think we’ve discovered where the sensible grown ups in Scotland are.

You mean Northern Ireland.

the EA have removed their affirming trans guidance from their website it’s in the bbc today.

Most of the trans teens in school are female. I find it highly unlikely they were going into the boys toilets anyway.

Yes, someone had suggested that the SC decision was open to debate and should be investigated further and that was the (clear) response.

In Northern Ireland, the Minister for Education, Paul Givan, has withdrawn previous guidance to schools on TG pupils. "This action reflects my firm belief that education policy must be grounded in both legal clarity and the best interests of children." I think that there may be challenges but this announcement is a clear position. https://www.newsletter.co.uk/news/opinion/columnists/paul-givan-i-have-ordered-the-immediate-removal-of-trans-guidance-for-schools-in-northern-ireland-5306488

He's pretty scathing about the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.

It’s a relief that some adults have finally entered the room.

No concern from adults about girls who have been getting UTIs because they avoid drinking to ensure not having to use mixed sex toilets.
