Apologies I don't know how to share the episode for those who aren't subscribed, but basically Nicola parroted her "anyone who doesn't agree with me about the GRC and gender ideology is a bigoted transphobic racist homophobe." So, doubling down and still not admitting she got it wrong. Also she said that apparently it's all going swimmingly in Spain and Ireland (self ID) and us uppity women made a big old fuss about nothing.

Predictably neither Alastair Campbell or Rory Stewart really challenged her.

My blood pressure rose listening to it. I just can't deal with the betrayal of Nicola and it's so obvious listening to her that she just will never ever think that she's got it wrong.

But hey...she's got a book to promote so calling us all bigots and homophobes again like she did on the TV a few years ago must feel great for her. 😑 I'm an ex SNP voter and voted for independence in 2014. The betrayal I feel from the SNP, Nicola sturgeon and all the Scottish public sector and all the people involved will never go away.

Completely agree. IIRC, Rory and Alistair got their arses kicked recently on GC matters and gave not one shiny shit. They're both idiots and Wee Jimmy joining them is just a triumvirate of twattery.

I'll stick to The Rest Is History. Dominic and Tom strike me as decent sorts who have no time for this nonsense.

Yep exactly. DH still subscribes to this podcast and was the one who got me to listen to this one because she was on it but oohhhh I was so raging!!!!!

Honestly I despair. I'm hoping the next Scottish elections really decimate the SNP and maybe some sense will return to other politicians in power but sadly it's such a small pool of people in Scotland to choose from and they all know each other that I doubt anything will change.

Sideways totally agree. Haven’t listened to them for months. The “Afghanistan is now a lovely place to visit” episode was my last straw. How clueless can these men be? Made an internal rule that I only want to listen to podcasts if there is a woman on there. With the exception of the rest is history obviously.
