The claim of Rowling being in the Epstein Files, is nonsense on the most fragile & wobbliest of stilts.

Ladbible is not a terf stronghold. It's a 'fun' news-site aimed at young adults, largely male & particularly gamers. So its support/vindication of Rowling here is notable.

This is what I find strange, Judith Butler is from a Reform Jewish background. I'm sure she does know. But maybe the (admittedly gloriously arbitrary) rules around Judaism are one of the reasons she's decided that all rule systems are equally arbitrary and can be pulled down just by wishing.

@Lalgarh Trivers left Harvard in 1978 & I'm pretty sure he's using "your son" as a hypothetical where a UK English speaker of his age might use "one's". If you want copper-bottomed creepiness though, his Wiki cites him as saying re Epstein's attacks on teenage girls, “by the time they’re 14 or 15 they’re like grown women were 60 years ago, so I don’t see the acts as so heinous”. Here he is on Epstein, "a person of integrity who should be given credit for serving time in prison and for settling civil lawsuits brought by women who said they were abused"* & on his own relationship with Epstein, "[it's] valuable mostly because he is extremely bright, open-minded and widely travelled... he gives me consistent, warm support without me having to write endless applications for grants, and trusts me to put it to good use*".
