Why can’t you just do as we say?

Boy George here, mansplaining to Sall Grover that if she would only do as she was told and comply with the wishes of men with a fetish, that life could be ‘gorgeous’. I am so sick of this rank misogyny and hatred of women.

Why can’t you just do as we say?

Yes, there's no onus on men to stick to the vast majority of apps that welcome them and respect the boundaries of lesbians who just want to date each other.

A litle bit of respect and being left in peace, that's all these app users wanted.

Denied to them, and how dare they want it in the first place.

ArabellaScott · 14/08/2025 11:30

'If we cannot share this space together' - we? Is George trying to access the app for women now, too?

Supersimkin7 · 14/08/2025 11:35

No hatred or ignorance from women here - abuse of rights, dignity and rejecting facts is down to the boys on this one.

TomatoSandwiches · 14/08/2025 11:39

I'm not surprised, that's the same Boy George that chained up a man in his house and abused him sexually and physically and got a tiny slap on the hand for it. He obviously doesn't have respect for other people's boundaries or autonomy.

Why does he still have a platform?

DeanElderberry · 14/08/2025 11:40

Obsession with JKR? ✅

Dodgy grammar? ✅

Oz reference making me think wistfully about huge saltwater crocodiles? 🐊✅

I do know that he's probably full of nasty additives that would be bad for the poor crocs.

lcakethereforeIam · 14/08/2025 11:43

Oh, fuck off George. He's no idea what it's like living as a woman in this world. Unfortunately part of too many men's 'gorgeous, free lives' seems to be hurting women and children.

Glamourreader · 14/08/2025 11:50

Dear creepy men of the world,

No one owes you sex, or flirting, or a frisson or their attention.

Signed, everyone else

Helleofabore · 14/08/2025 11:55

Yeah? Nah! No fucking way, George.

And I couldn’t give a fuck whether George has any fondness for Australia. He is a patronising and condescending arse.

How fucking blind do you have to be to not understand that Tickle did do something to Sal. When rejected he perused her personally to harass her after getting her personal details.

In fact, imagine what Tickle would do on the app if rejected by women on the app!

Sskka · 14/08/2025 12:01

Goodness me, is he still living in 2015? Making out like it’s normies’ fault for questioning [unprecedented and increasingly strange innovation] doesn’t really work anymore, and in fact hasn’t worked for some time.

JustFish · 14/08/2025 12:02

'If we cannot share this space together'
Well, Giggle wasn't intended as a shared space, it was Salls creation and business. The Apps entire raison d'etre was to carve out a space for women because men, including those with special gender identities can't share online space without problematic male pattern behaviours. RT had no business trying to access that space, was not invited, was not the target group, had nothing to contribute apart from more of the same male intrusion and domination - as evinced by the fact that one sulky, grifting man's hurty feels have derailed Salls entire life, time and business and not only prevented the development of Giggle as a potentially useful female developed and centred space online, but had a chilling effect on the development of other female centered services.

Perhaps the Culture Club Criminal could lambast a chap for a change ( no, not literally this time, George) by criticising the selfish behaviour men who won't be told no, and can't behave appropriately towards women?

AnSolas · 14/08/2025 12:10

I can state that I would not want to share a space with any man
• who thinks that buying another human is ok or
• who carries out acts of violence on a human while the humans hands were bound to prevent defensive actions and body tethered to prevent escape.

As for advice from that man?
I am old fashioned and will state

"Would you please be kind enough to shut up and fuck right off if I ever need advice from a violent druggie I will keep you in mind as someone who can keep fucking off and not seek advice from."

Is it ever acceptable for women to tell men to fuck off? | Mumsnet

Or does it make us look unintelligent, unreasonable, unkind, irrational or uncouth so we shouldn't do it? Should we care about this?

JellySaurus · 14/08/2025 12:15

the world cannot be ironed out to suit your understanding of gender or what it means to be male or female.

Whose, then? Your's? Tickle's?

lcakethereforeIam · 14/08/2025 12:16

You'd think that part of living gorgeously and freely is having the ability to say 'no' and having that refusal respected.

childofthe607080s · 14/08/2025 12:18

I guess if you have a strong male default then the world is a safer better place for men if they get their way / otherwise he comes across as ignorant

Beowulfa · 14/08/2025 12:19

Wouldn't the world be safer and happier for men, if men could just do whatever they please with their cocks! Thanks for saying it out loud, George.

ArabellaScott · 14/08/2025 12:21

Glamourreader · 14/08/2025 11:50

Dear creepy men of the world,

Quite.

That goes twice for convicted violent men.

Helleofabore · 14/08/2025 12:33

"We teach best what we need to learn. I'm sure you are a great person after a couple of glasses of wine but you have put a spotlight on yourself. You could have stopped this before it started."

Um.. Well George. Imagine telling a harassed woman that it was all her fault and they could have stopped the law suits etc if she just accepted a male person in a female single sex space...

NeverOneBiscuit · 14/08/2025 12:43

He really is a painted arse. Can’t all you women just let us creepy men go wherever we like? We’re glorious, & if you just recognised that we’d be living in harmony!

Of course if you disagree with the prat in a hat you might find yourself unable to detach yourself from a heating appliance. But hey, chill…

GetDressedYouMerryGentlemen · 14/08/2025 12:45

Does he not see the irony of "none of us can even exist without each other".
Every person only came to be because sex is binary and important.

DialSquare · 14/08/2025 12:46

What a load of old bollocks in response to the word No. We don’t want to share our single sex spaces with men, George, no matter how they identify. It’s not fucking hard to understand.

hholiday · 14/08/2025 12:51

‘None of us can exist without each other…’ what crass nonsense is this? Hundreds of thousands of women and girls tragically no longer exist, thanks to male violence. Their lives mattered. Women’s lives matter. And that is precisely why we need spaces away from violent, predatory men.

Helleofabore · 14/08/2025 12:54

ArabellaScott · 14/08/2025 11:30

'If we cannot share this space together' - we? Is George trying to access the app for women now, too?

'We'.

He acknowledges that a male is trying to access a female space with that we. 'We' means males and females. So 'us' males should have access to 'your' (female) spaces.

Language is important. It reveals a lot. Some of which isn't intended.

But the bottomline here is that Boy George sees Tickle as like him as male.

Which is amusing whilst he spouts off at transphobia.

Iamnotalemming · 14/08/2025 13:09

Oh dear he's just pushed me a little higher up the peak. Ass-hat.

LadyBracknellsHandbagg · 14/08/2025 13:16

It just reeks of mediocre male privilege, the reason these creepy men want the green light to enter SSS is because they know that women wouldn’t ordinarily interact with them for love nor money, so they have to force the issue.

Every male abuser on the planet blames their victim, it’s so easy to spot these predatory men, whether they pretend to be women or not.
