Wowsers! This pic off Reddit - is this unedited?! The height difference across the guests was always going to be tricky to get good group shots even before the complication of 2 possible brides…

I nearly had a similar issue with my wedding pics years ago where the photographer didn’t direct people in shot. I - the bride not in white - ended up at the back corner while DH’s cousin was front and centre by him 🤣🤣 I never noticed - luckily my mum called it and we could re-take the shots.

One of the most narcissistic things I've ever seen.

Isn't there a saying about people so narcissistic that they want to be the bride at every wedding, and the corpse at every funeral? He seems to be doubling up by dressing as the Corpse Bride.
Saves time I suppose

His mother bought the dress for him. I'm not sure, as the bride, who I'd feel more betrayed by.

deadpan · 13/08/2025 12:28

On my wedding day, I'd just come out of my room with my dress, veil etc on and my (eldest) sister said "how do I look".

MistyGreenAndBlue · 13/08/2025 12:29

What an absolute fucking arsehole!

HagsRule · 13/08/2025 12:42

There's another thread on this and I'd said the bride needs to cut that narcissistic arsehole out of her life, get new photos taken without him in it and go low or no contact with her enabling mother. I sense golden child syndrome with this one. Why the mother would enable and encourage this I do not know. Glad to see even for the misogynistic Reddit this was also a step too far...

My mother spent the entire run up to my wedding telling anyone who would listen about her dress, her hat, her shoes and on the morning of my wedding she stood by me in the hairdressers while I paid the bill, including for her hair dressing.

There's always one isn't there 🙄 My MIL was vile before our wedding but I won't go into that.
