Here the NYT interviews a dad with 2 trans kids without mentioning that Jesse Thorn man is an NPR journalist who piled on Robert Webb when he dared question Mermaids.

And this is why NPR and PBS are being defunded. This reflects so badly on both the New York Times and NPR.

I'm afraid if someone said to me that their kindergarten age child came out to them as transgender I would be laughing internally and trying not to externally. Kindergarten age children don't know the difference between a human with a dog mask on and an actual dog yet, so how they could "come out" as anything is completely ludicrous.
Good on Robert Webb I say, one of the very few, seemingly on the left, who stood up to be counted.

This is such a perfect example of the virtuous cycle presented by activists pretending to be kind people and the wholesale bankruptcy of American journalism.

1. Parent activist working in media (NPR) transes kid
2. Reasonable people question transing kids and sketchy charities like Mermaids
3. Parent activist uses media platform to try to cancel those reasonable people
4. NYT presents the parent activist as just a normal Dad of oppressed trans kid without mentioning his media and history as active culture warrior

The collusion of the US media to misinform the public on this topic is just hideous.
