Countdown death threats - Not Our Crimes

Rachel Riley and a Countdown producer have been the subject of serious death threats.

You have to read a very long way down and put up with multiple pop-ups and adverts to find out the truth, which is alluded to by defending counsel. I suppose it’s ok to be outed when it might get your sentence shortened!

This person is clearly very mentally unstable… but in that familiar male way.

Currently at a women's prison by the sounds of it.

HMP Downview is a women’s prison.

“She [sic] has suffered adversity throughout her adult life. She suffered significant trauma, and this resulted in suicide attempts. She transitioned in her adult life from male to female and has suffered a number of difficulties in relation to that, including being remanded for a period of time in a male prison. She is much happier and more settled in the place that she is in now”

Why is this guy in a women’s prison?

I hadn’t even picked up the prison issue. Wikipedia says that HMP Downview has a wing solely for transgender prisoners. Let’s hope he was in there.

Game shows need to tighten up their criteria on who they allow on.

Or perhaps men could stop sending death threats?

I thought that wing was repurposed because those male prisoners successfully campaigned that it would be cruelly othering to send them to a specialised wing?

There have been No Men in Women's Prisons protests outside Downview.

At the last one, a woman spoke to protesters about visiting her daughter who is in there and seeing a man in the visitor's hall.

From the description, that was a different creep.

Get these violent men out of women's prisons!
