Trans man denied Gender Recognition Certificate over attempt to conceive

A trans man has been denied legal recognition of his gender by the Gender Recognition Panel (GRP) after it ruled that his attempt to conceive a child meant he was not “living as a man”. The decision has sparked outrage among human rights advocates and legal experts, who argue it breaches both domestic and international human rights law.

This person clearly has some negative emotional connotations attached to the word "woman" such that she feels she is not a "woman" despite very much being exactly that by the commonly understood neaning of the word.

While I am sure she genuinley believed and presumably still does believe this, I do not think we should be allowing the muddled up sexist ideas that trans people have about what type of mind is "allowed" for men and women to become a relevant factor in what a "man" or "woman" is or is not in fact.

We can sympathise that something in their lives has lead them to project more than just body sex onto the concepts of Man and Woman without accepting that these projections are actually valid - not least because the projections of different trans people onto the same words are not themselves consistent.

And let's bet the TIW was using hormones at the same time as trying to conceive. When we're told not to so much as pop a paracetamol for fear of harm to the baby.

Honestly the trans lot are a bunch of brats, changing the rules every which way in logic more slippery than a bag of banana skins.
