As per title. What is the point ?

As it says at the top "your feedback will help us to improve it".

Go at it!

The helpful feedback I'd go for is that the best data set will be from everyone being asked their sex, and, in addition, an optional question in which people can declare their gender identity if they want.

Like I did last year.
And the year before that.
And the year before that.

Depending on who it is, send it to your MP asking why the government are collecting inaccurate data?

How am I supposed to know someone else's "gender identity" anyway? Might as well ask me what gender stereotype they most look like and give me a god knows I cant tell box to tick.
