Everyone who describes this debate as ‘toxic’ needs to provide examples of GC people being ‘toxic’. I’ve seen plenty of appalling behaviour from TRA’s, but never seen anything worse than slightly ill-judged from those defending women’s rights. Of course, we don’t need to, because logical argument, science and statistics support our argument, whereas toxicity is generally all they have (Bee makes my point quite nicely here by happily supporting quite the ‘nazi’ framing 🙄)

Urination as protest - toxic? Non toxic?

does PH make a difference?

No trans rights have been affected in any way.

Men have trampled all over women's rights. The Supreme Court has pointed this out in a way that means the government and everyone else running services and resources are finally going to have to make them stop.

Anyone thinking this is somehow a 'problem' has a sex based, binary issue with women's rights and equalities.

Good for him, no doubt prompted by the 1400 trans people and allies who turned up to mass lobby the MPs about trans rights being removed and the embarrassment that is the UK compared to our Western Euro neighbours.

Hopefully we can get more people for the next one. It's not like this situation will ever stop being a problem.

Specifically what actual tangible rights are being stripped from transpeople? As in the rights that everyone else has but apparently they no longer do?

Quite. In the spirit of plain speaking I think these sorts of statements can now be called out as the sexist nonsense that they are. Time to go on the offensive with the language imo. Too long have we put up with the “anti trans” falsehood

For Women Scotland:

Mr Maguire apparently told the Express he regretted the comment which was made in "the heat of the moment" and blamed the "toxic" debate.

We can confirm that his regret does not extend to offering us an apology.

Meanwhile, a woman childminder whose husband was a Tory, i.e. the rival 'gang' to Labour, ( and whose customers, of many races, vouched for how supportive she was to them, as a personal friend) was labelled 'terrorist': This was because, in the heat of the moment, enraged by a multiple child killer, she made a tweet she regretted, and swiftly deleted. Her husband is ill, and her own child is young. She is in prison, getting cruel and unusual treatment.

Meanwhile, Libdem funding was revealed by Mumsnet to be substantially from the pharma company which produces the drugs to enable 'transforming' a child's sex.
