Looks like a copy and paste of a standard complaint I have seen many times before but with a "Find and Replace" KJK for JKR 🤔

Is that both of them together now on the TRA/SocFem Naughty Step in your imagination, sticking pins in voodoo dolls of the most vulnerable and oppressed?

Who is KJK? I have no idea what you are talking about...

No it says that she felt she belonged in the women's category. The complexities of her case were for the experts and CAS panelists to determine.

…. And had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he knew he couldn’t beat the elite make athletes and had more of a chance of winning against the elite females. No, that had absolutely nothing to do with it. It was just a sense of belonging.

Thank you - I'm glad I'm not the only one. I think the discussion has become quite toxic unfortunately...

😂😂😂😂😂

I don’t think @javyd meant it in the charmingly oblivious way you’ve taken it m, Chris!

BettyBooper · 19/06/2025 12:48

Men take the piss, women call it out and the discussion gets called 'toxic'.

So sick of that word. It's just another stick to beat women with to try to get them to shut up.

How about this, men stop taking the piss so women don't have to call them out? 🤔

This.

It's amazing really, but has always been thus. Men do and say what they want, act how they want. Women speak up and are toxic, evil psychos. Once I hit 50, I realised that DARVO is everywhere. It is men who are toxic. I see it over and over again and have all my life.

My bad if I took it at face value - I thought she might be a fellow exhausted black woman agreeing but if I have missed the sarcasm then that's on me. From the likes on some of my posts, I know there may be some on here who agree even if they are not commenting.

Christmasmorale · 19/06/2025 12:33

Gender - she identifies in gender as a woman!

Biologically she is male, but she was assigned female at birth so her gender identity is not black and white!

It's not a hard concept to get for anyone who's not being deliberately dishonest and obfuscatory.

You said Caster was a woman because he was raised as one.

Gender actually is difficult because nobody has ever given a definition that isn't profoundly sexist and also false ("a woman is someone who wears makeup and likes being sexually submissive") or entirely circular ("a woman is anyone who feels like one and that feeling is whatever they feel it is").

So what do you think a woman is? What's your definition that includes all women and excludes all men? What is woman gender?

JKRowling gave SF short shrift last year when he started going round telling a tall story about how she added a line into all her books that he found difficult to say on the audiobooks.

I think she has no time for him and his nose is out of joint as a result. Makes me wonder 🤔

OMG the lying toe rag!

NotBadConsidering · 19/06/2025 13:00

Another example of a disadvantaged black woman:

Natoya Goule-Toppin

Should have a Commonwealth gold medal for the women’s 800m. Instead she has a bronze because two men took the gold and silver.

Helleofabore · 19/06/2025 13:01

I think toxic had been redefined now to be ‘I want to make unfounded accusations about people, and use misinformation to support my accusations, but people reject those accusations’.

Genuinely, what are you exhausted about?

Literally noone on here is attacking black women. We're saying black male athletes are not black women.

They are the ones using black women and negative stereotypes to hide behind. Why are you not angry and exhausted with them?

I know right?! The absolute brass neck of him!

Such a bare faced liar!

Helleofabore · 19/06/2025 13:03

So, are we to believe that Semenya and Banda are ethical athletes now?

Because they took advantage of a loophole created using similar arguments to what we have seen on this thread?

I mean, it is all ok because the loopholes existed and therefore no personal responsibility needs to be taken into account, right?

RowsOfFlowers · 19/06/2025 13:05

Stephen Fry was someone I previously admired and respected, but sadly no more.

I think Limey only found out about the Dunning Kruger effect very recently and is now throwing it around with abandon to show how clever he is.

Where has "limey" said they're a man?
Or are you doing that thing on here again that if someone says something you don't agree with that must make them a man, and to either discredit them or try and make people wary of them?

Absentmindedsmile · 19/06/2025 13:08

‘DARVO is everywhere. It is men who are toxic. I see it over and over again and have all my life.’

I agree. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

I sympathise with your exhaustion. However you could save some energy by fighting battles you are expert in and directly affected by.

Stephen Fry doesn’t deserve your energy. Neither does Caster Semenya who has done very well out of his situation. Caster does not appear like other black women when he moves or speaks. His wedding photos are fairly telling, as is that interview when he refers disdainfully to girls. And man spreads expertly.

Women on here have been working on this for years now. They have educated themselves on DSDs among many other things. They have read the court judgements, followed the key players, and discussed the controversies.
If they disagree with you, it isn’t because you know something they don’t know.

KJK is another woman fighting for women’s rights. She’s controversial for a host of different reasons and gets a lot of criticism for her position. She’s controversial was behind the ‘Woman, adult human female’ poster campaign among other things.

Datun · 19/06/2025 13:12

Christmasmorale

it's not surprising that you're under the impression that sympathy should be reserved for caster semenya .

Sporting bodies, caster himself, his entire team, and the press were all complicit in what really has begun to seem like a massive con.

The press absolutely wrote stories about invasive and humiliating examinations to determine caster's sex. And many people were under the impression that caster is a woman with high testosterone.

But once further testing was deemed ambiguous, a lot more came to light.

One of the things that came to light was an interview with Caster, where he clearly thinks of himself as male. Talking about women in a sexist way, and calling them soft. His coach called him he and always has.

Photographs of caster as a child would indicate that after puberty, at least, he thought of himself as male.

Apparently the DSD that Caster has is not rare in certain parts of the world and is colloquially called 'Penis at 12'. As, at puberty, it's quite clear what sex the person is.

(It's something like the viralisation of testosterone that should happen at birth, but doesn't, happens with puberty.)

And yes, it would appear that scouts deliberate identify individuals like this, because many are registered as female, but have male sporting advantage.

You may not have realised any of this, but as this is the sex and gender board, and the women here have been discussing Caster for about 10 years.

In great detail.

There are many other male athletes with the same DSD, Khelif is one of them. Indeed, in the women's 800 m at the Rio Olympics, the gold, silver and bronze all went to men.

All of them called women with naturally high testosterone levels. A level that is impossible for any woman to achieve.

It's a fucking disgrace.

It's not an accident, it's not just a shame, it's a deliberate way of courting fame, money and kudos by screwing women over.

And it's nothing to do with racism.

Men and women have 6500 genetic differences. A masculine looking woman does not look like a man.

It's ironic that being gender critical, like the women here, means that women can be as masculine as they bloody like, and it's absolutely irrelevant to the fact that they are female.

That IS gender criticism.

FreezeDriedStrawberries · 19/06/2025 13:14

javyd · 19/06/2025 09:19

what has race got to do with this? Just seriously stop with the DARVO

I'm assuming the poster means that the bigotry arguments always follow the exact same script.
Once you see how alike racism, homophobia, trans "issues" arguments are, (deliberately not saying transphobia as no doubt someone will go , wot, there's no such thing!" 🙄) you can't unsee it.
"Example of racism please?"
"Define racism"..."
etc
Identical.

Sorry Sir Stephen, that women are refusing to budge up to accommodate the delusions of men. Proof that even the cleverest of men can be completely clueless.

Proof, not that we needed it, that he isn’t clever, and he isn’t a ‘national treasure’. 🤢

I lost every ounce of any residual respect I might have had for Stephen Fry when he backed Peter Tatchell, cosigning his manifesto, in his bid to teach sex education to children as young as five.

Among other things, Tatchell wanted to make it mandatory, 'restrict parental opt out' and teach 16-year-olds how to masturbate.

https://www.petertatchellfoundation.org/stephen-fry-backs-our-call-to-revise-sex-education/

Contrast that with the woman who has given tens of millions to help orphaned children.

Stephen Fry backs our call to revise sex education

No faith school exemption, restricted parental opt out

And yes, I wonder why he's saying it now.

In terms of being on the right side of history, that ship has sailed, hit an iceberg, and sunk without trace.
