Hi all,
Just wanted to share that we’re now running a weekly lesbian and bi women-only picnic every Saturday in London.
It started small – just a few of us gathering in the park after being blocked from renting a venue. Now it’s become something we look forward to each week.
This Saturday, 21st June, we’ll be just outside Potters Fields Park, on the Queen’s Walk – the riverside path with beautiful views of Tower Bridge. Since the council won’t give us the venue, the park itself, or even the pavement inside it, we’re setting up just beyond the park boundary.
It’s not a protest. It’s not a party. It’s folding chairs, picnic blankets, cold drinks, and women who understand.
Time: 4.00pm to 10.00pm
Location: Queen’s Walk (next to Potters Fields Park, SE1)
No tickets. No speeches. No pressure.
Just space for anyone who’s felt pushed out of the places that used to be ours.
You can bring a blanket, a drink, a friend – or just yourself. No cliques, no agenda. Come as you are.

They blocked the door.
So we built something in the open.
then add add the banner and also the photo of us that I put on twitter (where we're in front of the tower bridge)
