Yet we are still her arguing the toss with a variety of nut wits.

Why are we doing it why are we giving it oxygen

Should we just break the habit of a lifetime and just ignore their incursions and derailments .

I resolve to only pay attention to current and future legal cases and positive developments, and ignore all the silly noise wherever it comes from.

The idea that posters put people off is an interesting one. I wonder whether many of us do have some internalised misogyny where we expect women to always be nice and patient. Even when those women are fighting for the sex-based rights of their sex class.
It's possible that comes from our sex-based need to protect ourselves and our young from bigger, stronger males: behaviourally, we (at population level) cant fight them physically so, as seen in other social mammals, show different behaviours to keep the peace.
Women not being 'nice' is therefore difficult for some people to cope with (including me to be honest).
However, it is very very difficult to keep being 'nice' when faced with constant bad faith arguments and when there is never any genuine intellectual debate from TRAs, but instead whataboutery and goal-post moving.
Personally, I would rather there was a more honest admission from TRAs that they don't want women to have sex-based rights. Then at least the debate would be based on firm ground and not the illogical quicksands that posters currently have to try and respond to.
So whilst I do think that we should always try to 'go high', it is frustrating and posters are only human.
