Prohibit police officers from having sexual relationships while undercover

Ban undercover police officers having sexual relationships as part of their undercover work. Ensure full and early disclosure is made to victims.

We think this is state-funded abuse that must never happen again. At least 60 women are reported to have been deceived into relationships by undercover police officers.

My goodness, surely it already is against their code of conduct? I mean I've heard of scandals in the 70s 80s but they're not still doing that are they?!

As the inquiry is still going on how every many years, decades since this first became public I doubt it.

And it has been running for so long, the current Chair is retiring as at least one other has done, with out wanting to sound harsh, but at this rate everyone will be dead before a "conclusion" is reached.

The petitions creator (Professor Mary Davis) isn't as far as I know part of the Police Spies Out of Lives campaign, but as a writer has been raising this as an issue going back many years.
