Has anyone with kids in UK high schools had their school survey kids in partnership with a company called Sheu? We were offered the opportunity to withdraw our children from the survey but when I asked to see the questions I was told I could only view them by visiting the school.
My child did the survey and it asked for their sex and their gender identity. There were also questions about abusive relationships and sexual health but I don't know what exactly.
I don't think it is a reasonable way to obtain parental consent and I don't think it is appropriate to ask children about gender identity when it is a contested belief. However I have not got very far with the school previously when challenging them on gender ideology.
