Well, yes, clearly they do.

There is a Change.org petition doing the rounds, supposedly started by "cis" women. For "cis" women to support trans people.

All the TRAs are very excited about how many "cis" women are signing it.

Except - anyone can sign it. I just joined Change.org as Billy Bigballs, and could sign it if I wanted to. All they do is verify your email. I could be a man calling myself Sophie, or Molly, or whatever. Doesn't mean I'm a woman.

So, we've no idea who started it. And they've no idea who is signing it. But to be sure, they'll start trotting it out as some kind of validation/support...

Hahaha! How are they verifying the cis-ness? What if someone pretends to be cis to get access to the petition? How do they know the signers are women? Are they policing genitals? Etc

Come on, which one of you has just been over to reddit and pointed out they cannot know who is actually signing it? 😂

It's nonsense as always. Even if many women are silly enough to think they don't need rights and it's more important to please men, they are welcome to go and dance naked in third spaces with random men all they wish, no one is stopping them. I hope they have a lovely time, their body, their choice.

Other women's bodies are not theirs to pimp out to men. And that IS the ugly and unvarnished truth of what they are doing.

I received an email from change.org recommending that petition earlier this week and it had less than 5000 signatures, has it gone up?
The wording of it is laughable
