It is going to happen again at the end of next week.

I hope the women involved drop out. Khelif is not safe.

Women's groups will be protesting the event.

Remember Khelif has still not taken any real legal action or taken another simple test to prove their sex.

Khelif will cause outrage across the world again.

Imane Khelif Set To Defend Title In The Netherlands' Eindhoven Box Cup

Ten months after a controversial gold-medal-winning run in the 2024 Paris Olympics, Imane Khelif is set to return to the ring at the Eindhoven Box Cup next week.

He wears a male boxer,'s groin protector - there are photos. The protectors worn female boxers are a different shape, for very good anatomical reasons.

Does he have much to protect in the groin area, though?

It's interesting to read that he has gone up a weight class - I pointed out during the Paris Olympics that he had already gone up a weight class from the Tokyo Olympics, and that for a biological male, that extra weight was going to be muscle and bone mass.

I quoted an unrelated interview I happened to see around the same time where a woman boxer said she had tried to go up a weight class, but it didn't work out because she just got heavier but not stronger, and lost fitness.

It was a perfect illustration of why Khelif in Paris, boxing as a lightweight, was more dangerous than Khelif in Tokyo, boxing as a welterweight and even moreso at ..what is he now, light middle?

For those who still doubt that Imane Khelif will participate in the EindhovenBoxCup
. These screenshots are from the IG account of the event, all comments which praises Khelif beating up women again are LIKED by the author of the post, i.e. the organizers of the event. Make no mistake - they won't just let him fight women, they WANT him to do it.

When is World Amateur Boxing going to address this unfairness, it’s a disgrace.

Riley Gaines has tweeted about it in the States.

Trump will probably pick it up soon.

All eyes are going to be on Eindhoven soon.

Interesting developments if true!

🚨 According to Le Correspondant Imane Khelif is in big trouble before the EindhovenBoxCup as RealWorldBoxing is about to implement karyotype tests. Lin Yu-ting was already disqualified from a tournament in Thailand. Algeria is in panic mode.

We're asking around if the news of Lin's disqualification is true. He posted on IG before the beginning of said tournament for the last time but nothing since then, so the news credibility is highly possible.

World Boxing's very detailed governance and ethics policies look pretty good, so you'd imagine that a simple swab test for all boxers seeking to take part in women's competitions wouldn't be an issue for them.

The issue is that the WB is effectively the IOC.
By removing IK they will be going against their parent company.
Ironically if they did so it would probably cement their position over the IBA.

Helleofabore · 29/05/2025 18:37

Maybe though WB will try a version of what the CIF has done, although the safety issue is still very much the concern.

I think that it maybe a work around in athletics/swimming, if there are enough lanes but I can't see it working in contact sports.
As you say due to the safety aspect of it.

World Boxing is to introduce mandatory sex testing, and IK is banned from boxing in female competition unless IK undergoes testing:

Good news, and particularly that if a result is under dispute, no fighting until it's resolved.

AFrankExchangeofViews · 30/05/2025 18:48

Ah yes the Netherlands, where you can buy women in shop windows. Gross country.

That's great news!

Iamnotalemming · 30/05/2025 18:54

Fantastic.

I wonder if IK will take the test or just threaten more law suits...

ArabellaScott · 30/05/2025 18:54

Happy Friday!

Next: who will mount an investigation into why a man was allowed to punch women in the fucking face as AN OLYMPIC SPORT?

Helleofabore · 30/05/2025 18:56

Cheers to that great news!!! It was certainly unexpected !

ArabellaScott · 30/05/2025 18:57

Mark Adams, I'm looking at you.

I am 100% certain IK will not submit a sample for PCR testing. If his cheating was definitively proven it would show up the shameless Algerian sporting bodies and embarrass the IOC clowns. He will slink away quietly so he retains his Paris medal. 😠

Delighted to see common sense returning

SinnerBoy · 30/05/2025 19:10

But even though several opponents have complained that Khelif has immutable physiological advantages, with Mexico’s Brianda Tamara saying after a 2022 bout that she had “never felt like that in my 13 years as a boxer, even in my sparring with men”

That's because men who spar with women understand the need to go easy. Unlike men trying to pass themselves off as women.

rabbitwoman · 30/05/2025 19:33

This is do great for those awesome female boxers who deserve a fair chance. But come on, now....

Everyone KNEW khelif had y chromosomes, they just didn't accept this made him a man. The idea that khelif was a woman with a medical condition is the one that was reported as fact and garnered sympathy and support from everyone.

We will be hearing in the next few weeks how bigoted and regressive we are, gatekeeper womanhood, bullying khelif for not being womanly enough, making us racist to boot.

And we will be told sex is a spectrum and we have progressed beyond high-school biology and then lectured on DSDs and how an athlete with a y chromosome was once disqualified in the 60s a year before she face birth......

People WANT to believe this shift and they will never believe they were wrong

ArabellaScott · 30/05/2025 19:40

What's interesting is all the news items assuming that Khelif will be ineligible. Almost like they all know already that he's male.

nauticant · 30/05/2025 19:48

Will they all start wailing about how terrible it was that they were deceived by a very clever cover-up where it was impossible for them to weigh up the facts?

SinnerBoy · 30/05/2025 19:52

Well, whoop de do. World Boxing seems to have had a moment of facing up to reality, probably financial reality. It's utterly shit, but I hope sincerely that this is the end of men fighting (I don't use the term competing in such instances) women, worldwide.

There's no glory, or pride for them doing it with bad grace. They knew all along that it was horrible and unaccessible, but they forced it, as a result of their ideology, which they thought would make them popular.

Their inexcusable stupidity has damaged real people; the unfortunate women who felt that they had no choice but to fight these two fucking men.

Oh, come Arabella - that's a step TOO far!

He's likely out of the contest - what more do you want?

(Other than a complete end to this bloody insanity and proper investigations about how it got so far...)
