Mumsnet women get a mention.

'Who is actually behaving like fascists here?Who is redefining language to suit the regime? Who is bypassing legal authority in favour of ideology? Who is capturing public institutions and silencing dissent? Who is insisting that the rights of the many must be sacrificed for the feelings of the few? It’s not the women from mumsnet holding up dictionaries. It’s the apparatchiks rewriting them. You don’t need to march down the Royal Mile in jackboots to install fascism. All you need is a class of bureaucrats who believe the law is subordinate to their feelings, and a citizenry too polite or too intimidated to stop them.'

The law? That’s just a vibe now

The Supreme Court recently ruled, clearly and unanimously, that under the Equality Act 2010, “sex” means biological sex. So what did our brave public servants do in response? They ignored it.

Powerful article that absolutely nails the current situation and not just in Scotland.
Thanks for posting.

'They don’t burn books. They just “update the language.”
They don’t jail critics. They defund and de-platform them.
They don’t ban speech. They “moderate harmful views.”

Boom.

And:
"It’s a protection racket wrapped in inclusive branding and sold as virtue."
Which sums up the whole gender bandwagon in the captured workplace for me:
The price is your integrity, but if you say the magic words 'TWAW' and display the unnecessary pronouns of the righteous, we will save you when the DEI reckoning comes.

My only criticism of the piece is that I wish she hadn't used flat whites as a literary eye roll twice. I like a flat white.

I wish she hadn't taken a swipe at Motability (a successful business that neither enjoys nor requires a taxpayer subsidy). People who like to administer a verbal kicking to the disabled don't usually get cancelled, re-educated or labelled as fascists by the current regime, who, on the contrary, treat them as some kind of inspiration.
