I don't know why it has only happened now, but I too have lost page numbers, it's just one continuous stream of consciousness now😒

It's going to be impossible to go back and check what some clever Stockinger said a couple of pages ago.
And quoted posts have a habit of disappearing if you go away from typing a message to check something - in the past I used to note which page the quote was on so I could re-attach it.

Just popping in to share a couple of lovely autocarrots I've just seen in FWR. One says that the two sexes are male & email. The other says that some toilets are a mix of chickens & urinals. 😂

Me too. I was VERY discomfited by the awful horribleness of Constant Scrolling.

It's gone now. Thank goodness! But why they initiated this egregious test in the first place, I have no idea.

However I see people have beaten me to it in the bean naming.

Toe beans? Seems to be the name for kitten toes nowadays.

No! There's no need for that. I mean I like beans and kittens are fine, but toe beans 😖 no thanks. Paw beans. Pad beans. Fluffy beans. Leave the toes out of it.

Maybe it's because (pedant alert MEEEEP MEEEEP) kittens have paws, toepads and claws.

Oh my gosh! I used to go this with my beautiful daughter. I’d name the beans then she would eat them, chortling with glee. That was 18 years ago, yet it seems like Yesterday. Mr Einstein, you have a lot to answer to!

Just what I always wanted. My own little edamame bean. I will name her Boily and I will hug her and pet her and squeeze her.

That is quite lovely.

I must confess to being shamefully unsentimental about beans.

If it is any comfort, Magpie, when I drove home tonight I found that one half of our gate had blown shut, so I had to put my hazards on and leap out.

It has rained a lot here. I'd like it to stop for a bit.

We have gone from hawthorn and cow parsley to dog roses and elderflowers.

I'm sorry but that toast will be way too soggy. personally I find the beans (cooked with a large slice of butter) are much better in a bowl, like soup, with the toast dipped into the bowl in between spoonfuls of beans.

My main concern is that my doctor told me they were good for my heart.

Or maybe it was Bart Simpson. Someone told me that, anyway.

These beans are yum, but they'd be even better with a wee bit of black pudding on the side.
