Cats Protection

Just scrolling Facebook and the below pops up. I love cats but have issues with cats protection since a couple of weeks ago when they told me they would put down a healthy stray cat near me instead of re home him. An elderly lady has been adopted by him but she was worried she couldn’t look after him so I called them for her and was told if he’s a stray they’ll put him down. Awful. And now this. Cats are very big on prejudice in my experience with their haughty expressions, tail flicking and bum pointing to show their disgust of people. God forbid you should change their food to something different or go out for the day.
Why can’t companies stay off the Pride merrygoround? Why is everything fucking political. Ben and Jerry’s have been at it this week too so no more strawberry cheesecake ice cream for me but that’s not a bad thing as it’s full of UPFs.
Food and charities should be neutral imo.

I read a post the other day where a local CP branch in Essex is having to start out on their own as the main org has stopped supporting them. They disagreed on the treatment for a cat under their care so they have been prevented from operating altogether.

I think it's yet another charity gone corporate and losing its way.

I tend to support grassroots charities nowadays anyway.

not anything useful to add about CP. but lidl do awesome strawberry cheesecake icecream. It’s popular though!! Looks like knock off hagen daaz rather than Ben and Jerrys

My phone camera refuses to focus anymore. I haven’t got my glasses on though so might just be me.
I prefer Haagen Dazs vanilla although I ate a whole tub once and was sick. Strawberry cheesecake ice cream is amazing and again the HD version is better.
June is pride month of course so every bugger will be jumping on in an attempt to be popular. That’s all it is. Bloody virtue signalling in an attempt to be cool.

Since the SC ruling my Facebook has been flooded with stuff about trans rights as though they don’t have the same human rights as everybody. All these celebrities coming out to say that hate JKR, like she cares, and how they are all so angry and a general hyperbolic word vomit. I spend so much time blocking stuff because my Facebook is very limited, or should be, to my equally limited interests. Pisses me off.

Cats know people’s sexes.

When I have visitors my girl normally watches from under the sofa for a bit, then comes out to be admired and retreats to watch from one of her beds.

When my brother visited recently, first bloke she’s seen in the year she’s lived with me, she was WTF & disappeared.

I wonder if Dame Katy Denise has left twitter to go and work for the fundraising department at cats protection 🤔
