Translucent CEO demonstrating it is all about stereotypes

I know we’ve had the mermaids GI Joe to Barbie spectrum etc but here’s a recent example from the CEO of Translucent :

Top comment under that tweet is spot on: "Why is he asking a middle aged transvestite about toddlers? What insight could he possibly offer?"

There’s so much denial about it being based on regressive stereotype but here is the CEO of a prominent trans organisation saying that parents might take their children along to get medical help if their girls are playing rough and tumble and their boys are playing with dolls.

It beggars belief.

Steph is as thick as a plank. It passes my understanding why anybody listens to a word he says. Still, another triumph for #OperationLetThemSpeak, I suppose.

The determination of these men to transition other people's children seems never ending. The fact they've been given a platform to spout their nonsense is the problem but that presenter did a good job of highlighting the lack of intellect and understanding of child development along with a belief in stereotypes in Steph's arguments.

Bizarre. The interviewer should have shut up a bit more, to make Richardson respond.

As it was, he bleated softly and managed not to say very much while Armstrong talked over him, which was a wasted interview opportunity!

I agree that Alex should have kept quiet a bit more. It's so easy to give these individuals enough rope and then sit back and watch them hang themselves. That's hard to accomplish if the interviewer keeps nattering on.
