I'm confused.

Saw a Telegraph article here

Free link here

It looks as if they're trying to stick to the Cass recommendations.

But - a lot of under 7s play with gender. The article's a bit confusing as it refers to under 5s. Why assume a gender crisis? Genuinely curious. One of my DC identified as a particular bug for 3 years, but it didn't cross my mind to take them to a GP and they grew out of it. Is society (or a part of) trying to pathologise normal development?

That was one of the issues with Cass iirc

Unless they’re going to be telling parents that this is normal and to not affirm. But it’s highly likely a parent has which is why they’re there

As TT point out, it’s as much about explaining to the parents and encouraging some sensibilities rather than the parent getting into online forums and the child going to school and inexperienced / activist teachers affirming them etc.
