Modern feminists have waged war against traditional gender roles and masculinity. They have said that conventional masculine roles are built into the patriarchy and are responsible for war and widespread violence. So basically the writer of the article is saying because women said something men reacted and thought the opposite, and somehow this is women's fault, rather than that men automatically ignore women or do the opposite of what women say? And in fact showing that women were right!
Honestly, you just couldn't make it up.
Apparently Luke Harris a 21-year-old believer in traditional conservatism seems spectactularly unaware he has undermined his own arguement. Unless of course he is saying that men cant think for themselves so women shouldn't say things, because men will automaticaly react negatively and then commit wrong but it isn't their fault.
