What a load of twaddle.

Lush - Trans campaign

Which fecking rights? They never go into much detail, do they?

BlueLimes · 11/05/2025 19:43

Apparently have lost access to healthcare. It’s infuriating and hooe they get tackled on the lies, especially as they have young consumers. My teens completely see through this nonsense thankfully.

I really hope this brings them down.
Why don’t businesses stick to selling stuff, instead of preaching on behalf of lobby groups?

user2848502016 · 11/05/2025 19:48

Utter nonsense
What campaigns have they had for women’s rights? You know women…. which most of their customers are.

Shadowsunray · 11/05/2025 20:12

I hope they go out of business. It's disgraceful that a shop is trying to indoctrinate young kids who are buying bath products.

roseyposey · 11/05/2025 20:40

Go woke
Go broke

🤞

BoeotianNightmare · 11/05/2025 20:45

I've had a lot of time for Lush in the past, they pay their taxes, have genuine supply chain transparency, care about their suppliers and the environmental cost of their products and also support excellent environmental causes. It's unfortunate though predictable that they have gone down the road of trans ideology. Since I've got older I feel I get treated quite disrespectfully in Lush by their pronoun-wearing youthful staff. I feel they are pretty condescending and patronising.

ahjeez · 11/05/2025 20:47

I wonder what would happen if women recreated these kinds of campaigns and posters.
"Women just want to pee!"
"Women just wanting to live their life"
"Women are welcome here"

Didn’t that kind of thing lead to us being called bigoted Nazis and TERFs in the first place?

ChopstickNovice · 11/05/2025 20:52

Ugh, I am sick of this sort of thing from Lush.

tartyflette · 11/05/2025 20:57

How have trans people lost access to healthcare? (Unless there are shortages of specific meds which they need.)
I thought the SC statement stated firmly that trans people must be treated the same as everyone else, no discrimination in anything but they must use the bathrooms etc that align with their biological sex.

StopTheWorld1WantToGetOff · 11/05/2025 21:59

I think companies should get back to selling us shit and stop trying to tell us want to think.

Serencwtch · 11/05/2025 22:20

I saw on Trans reddit that the trans community are calling members to boycott lush because they think they are cashing in on 'their battles' and apparently they tried to use a small LGBT++ business premises in Brighton for free to promote their stuff so are trying to take advantage of the community.

They've got a bit of a problem if they are going to be boycotted from both sides.

Wowzel · 11/05/2025 22:22

My DD loves lush products but I am less keen now.

What are good alternatives?

They got into trouble once because they were seen on a list of funders of WPUK or a similar group.

Ingrates! They also had a go at the actors from the New Harry Potter series for signing an open letter on their behalf whilst also "taking money from the arch transphobe JK Rowling" or something
😂

Oh dear, has it gone a bit Popular People's Front for Judea?
