I’ve just had to check that ‘allay’ means what I thought it meant, & I’d say Nicola Sturgeon is stoking fears rather than allaying them.

You’ve played a massive part in making trans lives unliveable, Nicola. We only got to this point because of you and your government’s actions. If you really care about trans people then maybe reflect on that. (Not that I think what she’s saying about trans lives is true, to be clear.)

Totally agree. If her Gov had gone down the route of 3rd spaces trans people would not be in the situation they now find themselves in
