I would say it's because our laws and rulings reflect what most people think.

It's been hugely telling to me that out of hundreds of Facebook friends only a literal few have posted out about how they disagree with the SC ruling.

They need to direct their anger at Stonewall for massively overreaching and leading to this situation where the supreme court had to soberly reach this conclusion.

I am very well-organised due to secretarial training and having two jobs plus caring responsibilities. Alas, I have a balcony and no current husband (the last one would undoubtedly be all over a pool boy, hence why he's history).

In all seriousness, the GI movement does not have rational thought on its side, nor deep thinkers. From long observation, it's also chock-full of characters who seem unable to prioritise spending beyond body modification (tattoos, piercings and poorly-chosen surgery) and other personal adornment that is as sartorially unwise as it is financially imprudent. They haven't two spare brass farthings to rub together, let alone donate to support their fellow travellers.

Daubing insults on placards isn't very wise. Issuing death-threats on social media is their fall-back strategy. These are deeply unserious people with questionable ideals. They are also horribly po-faced and humourless. None of those qualities are admirable and are losing them support fast. Operation Let Them Speak is working. That's why we're winning.

How delicious that they still don't get it.

It’s because the premise that two sexes exist is a fundamental reality to the majority of people.

The starting point was #bekind and I think people were happy to be kind until the liberal elite started forcing us to comply with a literny of falsehoods and I honestly think the bail in the coffin was the Scottish government bringing in a raft of charges that enabled a very unpleasant sex offender into a woman’s prison. A lot of it does come down to time management and a dash of critical thinking, doesn't it? Though I'll admit I'm happy that the (still v underpaid) salary that is the reward for decades of working on time management and critical thinking sometimes comes in handy when there's gardening to be done.

Sigh, still have to find time to write to my MP though - Sex Matters say do it today. Midnight will do, right?

Who are the evangelical American/ right wing companies funding legal actions? I've never heard specifics. We have JKR gave £70 grand, which is no secret, and that's it. End of detail. No "church of blah blah gave X amount to Y case", "Such-and-such Right Wing Organisation gave..."

Is it the fact they are so sucked into American forums? Like how Emily Bridges says JKR should put her money into campaigns for our abortion rights?

Why can't they accept it's regular women giving bits here and there? The evidence is there on the crowd funding pages, dates amounts and comments. Is that too scary to consider, the fact that there isn't some rich overlord and there's actually nothing stopping them doing the same? Or that there are so many of us that even with small donations we can manage we can fund all these cases?

I also liked what I perceived to be a sense of chaos gathering among them. And, dare I say it, a hint of emerging acceptance that the game is up. (May be wishful thinking on my part, but the grumbles about them never having as much right wing funding as us, and not a comparable amount of garden parties to attend, could have been the beginning of acceptance.)

Because they look down on regular women, we aren't doing womaning nearly as well as they do, plus who has ever cared about regular women ? We are just the boring back office staff who make sure everything runs smoothly, finds stuff and deals with all the major and minor catastrophies that an ordinary life throws the way of everyone. Shame on us !

Some of them have spent money propping up Jolyon and the Judge. That may be as sartorially unwise as it is financially imprudent, but it isn’t a personal adornment.

Personally, I think we’re winning because of all the boys. We now have a game boy, a lawn boy, a pool boy and a land boy. We’re going to have a lovely garden party!

This thread has been a revelation, in the last ten minutes alone I've discovered that I've gone up a class bracket, become a ton richer and not been invited to any bloody garden parties.

It's a very sad reddit community tbh. It's a closed shop where moderates and progressives who truly aren't "TWAW" are ridiculed and kicked out. These forums are exactly how people become radicalised, especially when they jump straight onto the newbies seeking support. It's a fast shift into "your parents hate you, you need to emancipate yourself" and I do worry about the safety of people they are clearly messaging off the boards.

That thread alone shows the lack of critical thinking about any of it, the swallowing of the propaganda about RW funding and low levels of intellect tbh.

There are so many young teens on there.
