Usually so outspoken about his needs. Have I missed his reaction to the restating of the current law?

And Brighton where he submitted the same speech, merely substituting City names as I recall.

Like a poor job application where you don't tailor the cv.

No more piccys of him waiting outside Women’s toilets then?

Well, he can wait outside all he likes, fiddling under his pink coat. But that's all he can do now!

I don't doubt he's keeping his head well down.
Izzard isn't stupid whatever else he is, he won't be screaming all over SM or the telly about transphobia or insisting that he won't be following the judgement.
He always has his eye on the main chance. I foresee some reverse ferreting in his future.

I used to really admire Eddie in the 90s loved the whole Mr Fish, Bowie, jagger dress thing.
Using fashion and clothing for fun without the whole undercurrent of woman face. And we could all accept that what a man does in his own private attic is his own private business.
Politics was his game plan back in the early 2000s, it's a long held dream, was probably aiming for MEP before being Brexit forced back to the UK.
Sadly I think he will struggle to be a great anything now, when once he held so much promise.

newtlover · 06/05/2025 22:11

welllllll..... I think the story of how he came to see the light, reverse ferret and join us all on the dark side the right side of history could be very entertaining
Eddie, you can have that one on me, all I expect is a couple of tickets.

WallaceinAnderland · 06/05/2025 23:07

I think he will go down the 'I welcome the clarity in law' line. Eventually. If anyone bothers to ask him. He certainly can't use the female facilities any more so I expect he will mostly stay in 'boy mode' for convenience.

Just the one was enough.

DozyBugger · 07/05/2025 07:21

He’s too busy rehearsing for his role as Hamlet. I kid you not.

Not Ophelia?

Allthegoodnamesarechosen · 07/05/2025 07:26

He’s a bit old for Hamlet, surely?

( and he has a very non-Shakespearean voice, but I suppose that would be outweighed by being whatever we are supposed to call his proclivities this week).

Not Ophelia?

Isn't it his "one woman show" where he plays ALL the parts?
Evidently it's shit but he's done about 150 shows now I think
