Hi,
Are there any teachers on here who have recently had training from Allsorts? Maybe re the Rainbow Flag Award or otherwise? hard to find out what kind of gumpf they are spouting at the moment and I want to challenge the council for promoting them.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
thanks

The last lot of "training" I had through them was presented by a transman that had fully transitioned.
Spoke quite nicely about mental health, various Mental health support agencies.
How they had helped LGBGT+ children find a safe space.

Then TWAW/TMAM, the gender spectrum, use of toilets and the equal rights act. (although they missed sex as a protected characteristic)

thank you, how long ago did you do the training? Also was there any room for discussion around the gender stuff being a contested belief etc or was that framed as bullying? I know the training is often done online with all mics off ?

It was about 2 years ago.
And was done in person.
Although there was a Q n A session, there was no real chance to talk about it being a contested belief.
But the Senior staff had pretty much bought in to it all.

I have just remembered that there was a section on puberty blockers and hormones and that if you stopped everything just reverted back and they caused no harm at all.
I think that we were all pretty shocked by that.
