The trans guidance was awful. I am a retired member and started to write a letter pointing out the omissions and errors but gave up it was so bad.

We haven’t all followed it.

Members, including me have been writing to them and pointing this out to them for years. They have been as cowardly and disingenuous about this topic as every other major organisation. They are, generally speaking, very fluffy and woke and this damages their credibility further.

Tanya de Grunwald mentions the CIPD guide in her recent podcast with KJK. It’s worth listening to because the CIPD eventually withdrew that flawed one but the ‘corrected’ one is effectively paywalled so lots of organisations haven’t obtained it and are practising in line with the error strewn version.

I’m pleased to see Grunwald quoted in that article.

I wouldn’t have found Tanya De Grunwalds podcast unless I’d seen someone mention it on here - thanks whoever it was! - but each one has been a brilliant listen, including the KJK and Maya ones.
