And the two legal eagles who make the Double Jeopardy podcast, Ken MacDonald and Tim Owen.

Karon Monaghan was the consultant KC for the lesbian 'interveners' and gave such a measured and knowledgeable account of the issues on today's podcast. A very necessary antidote to the ignorant hosts of The Rest is Politics.

But Owen and Macdonald have always been clear & rational about the madness of transactivism: Professor Kathleen Stock was an early guest, as was Professor Jo Phoenix, and Ms Monaghan has been interviewed 3 times now on sex equity matters.

GIve it a listen - Ms Monaghan is particularly interesting on the way that if UK law were to use "gender" instead of "sex" transmen would be stripped of any and all rights as women - so no rights to maternity leave or freedom from discrimination on the grounds of pregnancy - or anything related to discrimination against women. I had never realised this. And it proves that us old TERFS are not actually Trans Exclusionary - just Radical Feminists.

Although I personally think that a transman who has a baby is not being genuine about her dysphoria, but I don't want to have women stripped of rights that pertain specifically to her sexed body, no matter how daft or inauthentic I think she's being.

Thanks OP, I'd never heard of this podcast before. It's a good listen.

I don't think saying men can be women counts as being radical

Sorry I don't understand? It's not at all radical to say men can be women - not sure where I said it was?
