Anyone else celebrating the SC ruling this weekend?

It seems an apt weekend to toast new growth, hope and the resurrection of common sense. I can’t wait to get together with my TERFy wim friends who have kept me sane over the last few years when I thought I was the only one who could see the big fat lie being perpetrated by our schools, hospitals, experts, leaders…the gaslighting has been all around.

In our own little way in our own small world, while raising children and going out to work and dealing with illness and coping with the difficulties of menopause, we’ve challenged our workplace, our schools, businesses, our local MP. It’s been painful at times especially when friendships have not withstood our need to speak out or when old dear friends have feigned ignorance or remained silent. Many tears have been shed in frustration and despair.

Anyone else out there raising a toast this weekend to speaking the truth, to not being a sheep, to female friendship 🥂🍾? I can’t wait!!

Yeah, having family around with a big leg of lamb. Will hide some chocolate eggs around the house tomorrow for the kids and having Friday and Monday off work. Big SC celebration here.

Can you tell me what you will do when you encounter a trans man in a women’s toilet please? I’m genuinely interested to know. As this SC ruling has made it law that they go into women’s toilets. Which will mean there will then be men using this legislation to go in women’s toilets, trans or not. Which puts women at more risk than they ever were from trans women. As it’s men who are the problem. Who will always have walked in and attacked whether dressed as a woman or not. Now they have been literally given cart blanch to do so.

I don’t think that’s going to happen, though, unless transmen do it as a deliberate protest.

Most passing trans people will continue to use the toilets they use now, and no-one will notice.

Obviously, transmen tend to pass better (due to testosterone, facial hair, men being less adept at noticing sex, etc), so for the majority of transmen who just want a quiet life and don’t want to out themselves, they’re not going to be using the ladies’ loo this week if they weren’t last week.

Also, the EA places the obligation on services not to discriminate - it doesn’t criminalise individuals for going into the wrong toilet and it absolutely has not “made it law” that transmen have to use the women’s toilets. That’s just made-up nonsense.

Female people are not men

I've only just recovered from Wednesday, (I was in Edinburgh), I'd have been fine if I didn't bring a bottle of prosecco home after the drinks there!
I am going to have a takeaway tonight though, salt and pepper squid, Singapore rice noodles and seaweed.
We're all bloody fabulous 👌

Say hello to her? Wash my hands at the next door sink in silence. Shuffle past her to go into a cubicle. Same as with every other woman. Politely go about my business in the single sex toilet alongside her.

What a load of bollox. The ruling has said no such thing.
Stop taking everything you see on social media as gospel
