Webberley's guest:
Age six 'I kept like girl stuff more than guy stuff, but I'd be forced to go and
do the what boys would do, um, and I tried to deal with that all through childhood
teenagers, young adult, and it just never went away, it was just always there. I'd
always be more drawn to being more feminine than masculine'
This is the full and entire theory of 'gender'.
And here's Helen on self identifying as a girl, boy, or llama:
'I've talked to many transgender children in my time - beautiful, um conversations - and I was talking to a a little transgender girl, and I said - so, this is when I was learning my language and navigating my own pathway around this -and I said: 'So, what what is it that makes you want to be a girl, instead of a boy? Why do you think that you want to be a girl instead of a boy?', and she said: 'Dr Webberley, I am a girl'. And so it's not about wanting to identify as a girl, or wanting to be a girl, or wanting to identify as a llama or be a llama - it's about being that thing'.
'and so it - I, I shut off when people do that dog, llama, cat thing. Uh, you know, please, you know, go away, um, this is about people who are a girl or a boy or a man or a woman deep inside them, in every single, every single part of their heart and body and soul is female'.
Rightyho.
