Will the offender be placed in a female prison, based on the fact his current sentence is for crimes against males, potentially implying he is not a risk to women? Or maybe he is but only to the special ones. What a conundrum!

This is a response from Surrey Police. Annex L is an interesting read - a person’s ’lifestyle’ seems to be a deciding factor!

Ffs, surely the guidance re protected characteristics should be that they’re recorded accurately? Sex (only possible question there is biological vs ‘legal’ ONLY for those with a GRC, plus for those who says it applies to them ‘gender reassignment’ .

Clearly not the sharpest tool in the box, if the spelling of the new name is anything to go by.

In other words, Surrey police are in thrall to trans extremists (2 of whom were celebrated by Surrey police until they were locked up last week for appalling sex offences against children). But they're ignoring that and instead continuing to pander to male offenders demanding to be called women. Because the zealots in charge just don't learn - or care.

The Telegraph is not messing around here. Not only is the headline 'Trans woman called ‘she’ in sex offence court hearing', but early in the article is -

"The sex offender, formerly known as John Graham, was described as a woman in court despite the offences only occurring in men’s lavatories."

The Darlington and Stockton Times has played a blinder here, it not only give his full name (John Leslie Graham) but almost completely ignores pronouns by referring to him as

Yes there is "their mobile phone" and a couple of "they"s; but the mention of his original name almost implies 'he uses a different name to evade his past convictions' and there is no mention of trans whatsoever. An excellent piece of writing.

In that sentence, the word "woman" strikes me as completely bizarre. We've seen the photo at the top. We know before we start reading the article that women don't commit sex offences in toilets, whether female toilets or male ones.

The Telegraph revealed that police forces and courts were routinely <a class="break-all" href="https://archive.ph/o/zlOfE/www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/03/19/criminals-allowed-to-self-identify-gender/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">allowing criminals to self-identify their gender, with transgender rapists among those recorded as female.

And yet we don't have self-id. Police and courts are supposed to be dealing in facts.
