Launch of their new policy to be implemented this year for research applications.

Looks very good. Can't commit that time unfortunately

It's very good - so clear that a focus on women's health needs is necessary.

They did define Sex and Gender - sex to refer to biology, chromosomes etc.

But there has been some cissing about to obscure meaning for those for whom English is a second language..

One speaker clearly doesn't quite get it and at one point said
"C" "I" "S" gender (snigger)

In fact all speakers very good so far.

Very encouraging to hear that all grant applications must include how they will /include tackle sex and gender in the research.

Did Dr Kate Womersley say this was kickstarted by Caroline Criado Perez's book Invisible Women?

I don't think she did, but Carolin CP was one of the speakers. Absolutely excellent!

I think they said at the start it's not being recorded. Which is a shame, if I'm right, as the presentations are very high quality and myth-busting.

Yes I've seen Caroline on another webinar and she was excellent then too.

It’s such a shame the first panel wasn’t recorded. Did they say why?
