I dont know which is worse that it is Scotland again, or that after all these years TRAs still wont Let Women Speak.

It says something that KJK keeps going in the face of this relentless hostility.

Police Scotland failed to protect women from trans activists at Aberdeen rally

Let Women Speak held a rally in Aberdeen on Saturday to mark International Women's Day but this was marred by a counter protest which police failed to hold back from disrupting the event.

I plan to attend the rally in Nottingham this month. While I don't agree with all KJK's views, I think it's admirable she keeps going despite all the violence and aggression from the TRA. They want us to listen to them but they always attempt to drown out LWS with their megaphones and drums. Why should we listen to anything they say when they behave like this.

And just under that article we have this

Edinburgh sex offender changes name to Claire and demands move to women's prison

Albert Caballero is currently incarcerated at HMP Edinburgh but is eligible to apply for release. He has demanded lipstick and eye make-up, shocking officers.

"I just want to highlight that if we were Rangers fans and they were the opposing team there would be a buffer zone and if we were Muslims and they were Britain First there would be a buffer zone. We aren’t a threat to the police, we aren’t going to beat the living crap out of anyone, we aren’t going to threaten them with violence -- because we are women."

Well, she's got that right.

Good statement and worth highlighting.

What a surprise. Are you surprised? I'm surprised. Look at my surprised face 🙄

Misogynist pricks.

I admire KJK, I don't agree with everything she says, but she has been out there fighting for something I consider very important, so I support her activities. It's the fact that 3 years on and she still has to put up with the hostility that get's my goat. The police service are a waste of space when it come to Women's Right's. If she held a rally near me I would go to show my sport.

Abhannmor · 10/03/2025 08:52

Rangers and Celtic fans can mostly look after themselves. Yet the authorities would probably send in mounted police to keep them apart.
If you're not violent they leave you at the mercy of thugs. Insane.

Yes. That's exactly what my OH said about the Nottingham LWS. The police were a total disgrace. If it had been football fans the police wouldn't have let them near each other.

"Police were criticised after the Edinburgh rally after complaints women were "corralled" into too small a space while being surrounded on three sides by hostile trans activists screaming abuse."

This is precisely what happened at Nottingham. It's the TRA tactic. The police simply do not understand what they are dealing with here.

SinnerBoy · 10/03/2025 16:39

It's a bloody disgrace, when LWS came to Newcastle, the TEZs were kept well away from the women. And that's a force which persecuted Linzi Smith and has rainbows and trans flags on its vehicles. It can be done, if one of them has the will.

letwomenexist · 10/03/2025 17:01

KJK's coming back to Nottingham at the end of March to give the police another chance to do the right thing! Let's see if they get it right this time.

XXylophonic · 10/03/2025 20:17

If you look for 'notts live' on YouTube you can see how the TRA behaved that day in Nottingham.
It appears he was invited by someone from LWS but he mistakenly encountered the TRA mob and thought they'd invited him (he doesn't appear to have a clue what he was attending)
They were aggressive from the start, claiming all kinds of nonsense about KJK and when he later challenged some of their statements they surrounded him and assaulted him but he stood his ground.

Handy for me because I now know what the violent ones look like, for when I attend this month.
I have a feeling they'll occupy speakers corner again and force the meeting to go elsewhere- unless Nottingham police step up.this time.
