I'm going to a friend's later to celebrate. She's Russian and I think it's a big deal there. I was in M&S yesterday and thought I'd get some fun "female-related" treats to take. I found some Empress Grey tea bags and thought I'd get some Connie the Catterpillar treats but there were NONE in the shop so I dumped the tea bags. They're always sending me requests for feedback when I've visited so I told them all this and said I didn't understand as M&S jump on every bandwagon going but not something celebrating half the population. I'm not expecting a response 🤷‍♀️

Happy IWD! I have seen so many strong social media messages today about actual women, their lives and histories.

I've been celebrating IWD by doing something only a woman can do: having a hysteroscopy. And it's thanks to the women of Mumsnet that I'm able to have it done in a way that respects a woman's dignity and a woman's pain. It's thanks to the women of Mumsnet that I even recognised that I had the right to this respect in the first place.

Thank you, Women. I'm proud and grateful to be one of the vipers.

I am unable to attend the International Women's Day event in my town because it has been taken over by the trans lobby who have made it all about men who think they are women.

Worse than that any ordinary woman like me who doesn't go along with this new gender ideology is not welcome to attend women's day. When are we going to stand up to this madness?

I've been pissed off all day because of a friend's IWD post on Instagram.

She chose photos of Malala, Gisele Pelicot, Rosa Parks, Michelle Obama... and that bloke from OITNB.

Bought a Suffragette flag this week and decorated the rear window of the car with it. Unfortunately it's Saturday, so I won't commute, but I'll leave it for a few days :-).
