What a fantastic achievement, a grown man cheating a 12 year old girl out of the fastest time but hey as long as his meditation, therapy and self-improvement benefits, why give a shit about damaging women and young girls?

Tbf compared to other trans madness in Canada that seems run of the mill absurd and misogynistic

How pathetic of him to need to win against women. I think there has to be a separate category in sport. The boxing in the Olympics was a prime example of the disadvantages female competitors face against transwomen. No woman or girl should have to compete against anyone who has gone through male puberty.

Morin, a Liberal advisor to Canada's women's minister …

Just another cheat. 😶

Beside the point I know, but 25min32sec is not very fast for a 5k. My local park run is pretty hilly and the fastest women's time this week was under 20min. (Beaten by 11 men of course). There were numerous women under 25min.

Wonder why that race was so slow?

As for his comments on "the state of scientific research in the field", well, bollocks to that. "I remain open and attentive to new scientific data that could emerge on the issue of trans women in sports." Just how much data does he need?

DuesToTheDirt · 20/02/2025 19:57

Oh, just spotted this bit in the article: "Morin has claimed that trans women competing against biological women in sports is just another form of 'variation' that means some biological women are taller or stronger than others." There aren't enough eye rolls for that.

He means data that supports his views. Not TERF-y data

The boxers in the Olympics weren't transwomen. They were just men with DSDs.

Cheaters are going to cheat

And dishonest people are attracted to politics as they see they can game the system to gain unfair advantage.

What a twat. He should be deeply ashamed. But he won't be, he'll feel stunning and brave.

The photo of the 12yo shows snow - so probably very heavy going?
