The drag queen is apparently Lawrence Chaney, who is Scottish. Hence the connection, ie being Scottish, although no obvious connection with Burns.

I assume this is an indication of how few well-known Scots there are in the entertainment industry at the moment. Or at least, in London and willing to meet the PM.

They couldn't even dig up David Tennant or Alan Cumming? Or is Starmer that deadly to their box office?

I was trying to think if I know of any famous Scots under the age of 50. Couldn't think of any, but that might be because I'm out of touch with youth culture.
