I hope the woman who had the abortion is okay and doesn't get further punished for what she's been through.

In light of this law existing, I think it's better that this happens sooner rather than later. Let Paxton do his worst. Better than letting it fester. I hope the courts kick his ass. Or, at least, that it'll open the eyes of moderates, their supporters and encourage change for the better.

That's barbaric.

This is a direct violation of the Full Faith and Credit Clause of the constitution.

If SCOTUS (and that's where this will end up) decide Article IV Clause 1 is no longer applicable, then the slave states will be able to recapture runaways from free states.

Add that to the possibility that SCOTUS will decide the constitution is just advisory anyway, and all of a sudden a lot of things could happen all at once.
