Police in Kenya have hurled teargas cannisters at hundreds of protesters against gender-based violence, or femicide, in the capital, Nairobi, and arrested an unknown number of people

Yes, I'm speechless too; I mean, you REALLY couldn't make it up.

There was a vey similar act of violence against a women's march in Turkey.

Not sure if anyone posted at the time.

But this seemed a relatively small event, hardly public disruption. So can only be about thinking women shouldn't have a voice.

I really only posted the story because I just wanted it to be known rather than just over looked.
