Matt Walsh thinks gender ideology has now been defeated in the USA - is he right?

Basically he thinks that making congress bathrooms single sex is a sign that the debate has been won. That Senators are now prepared to speak out on this issue in a way they wouldn't have three years ago.

He thinks the argument have been won and its just a matter of hoovering out the last remains of GI from other institutions in the USA.

Do you think he is right and if so, will this have a ripple affect elsewhere in the world?

Maybe he's right but don't forget 'gay ideology' is next. They got those trans people on the run so it's time to get those gays safely back in the closet. Then after that it's 'feminist ideology' and getting those women back in the kitchen and pregnant. All of this was a wedge issue to move the Overton window to make reestablishing total patriarchy look 'moral' and 'normal'.

@Echobelly the gender ideology lobby has already damaged gay rights, gay children and women's rights. I don't disagree that right wing ideologues hate everyone but getting rid of gender ideology and restoring sanity is a massively positive step for anyone who is LGB, female, autistic or in care.

I think the US's capture has something to do with the way that Evangelical Christianity is a major thing. The mindset is to believe spiritual ideas. Also, as Chesterton said, when people stop believing in God, they don't stop believing they just believe in anything that turns up - hence crystals etc and GI.

Matt Walsh is a dick, but both he and I agree the sky is blue. He's a good speaker on this specific issue and he's undoubtedly been influential in the US. That's where any "lauding" ends.

This is basically just saying one group of men can't be called out on their treatment of women in case another group of men do something bad in retaliation.
