Hi @Christinapple , great to.see you engaging slightly with the actual topic of Isla Bryson, the trans woman rapist, supporting Midhra Wadhwa, the trans woman rape support centre CEO who has been shown to be responsible for a culture of fear and intolerance, in their mutual dislike of JKR.
But you still have not said what you think about Isla getting involved here. Do you think this rapist has a point? Do you sympathise with him? Has he been treated badly?
Because it is weird that you still seem more upset about the involvement of JKR in the discussion of rape support, even though as a woman who has directly supported rape crisis centres one would expect her to have an interest in this topic, than the involvement of an actual rapist.
So tell me, what have you done to support women to justify your dismissal of JKR? How many rape shelters have you funded? How many women did you rescue from Afghanistan?
Or are you one of those "if trans identifying males can't have it, no one can have it" type of activists? The ones who are happy to see women abused, attacked and excluded if they have needs you consider unworthy? The type of activist whose idea of winning is to pull supports down rather than building them up? The type of activist whose support of rape victims comes with conditions?
The type of activist whose first reaction, when faced with a woman who puts real resources into making things better for women, is to whinge that she's not doing it the right way? The type of activist who like Midhra believes it better to leave a rape victim traumatised than allow her to receive the help of a person you label transphobe? Is that who you are?
I hope not. I really, truly do.
