So this guy started to id as a trans back in 2021(possibly before) but used his real name and sex during his 2022 trial and after his conviction, so his real name is on the sex offenders register and then promptly goes and changes his name to a women's name (not telling the police) and proceeds to start trying to abuse young girls again.
I wonder how many more sex offenders will do this until someone changes the law to close the loopholes

How many times have trans allies and TRAs told us this would never happen when we have highlighted it?

How many times have trans allies and TRAs told us that no man will just identity as a woman in order to access women and girls to harm them? How many times have we explained and shown examples of how that is already happening?

It's is beyond time for those chirruping those falsehoods to face up to the fact they are actively condoning and excusing harm to women and girls.

This strategy by men who want to abuse children has been happening frequently, as demonstrated by court reporting, but it doesn’t seem to be a govt. priority to take steps to prevent it from happening.

Currently, the GRA legislation is pretty agnostic as to male reasons for wanting to change ID documentation to opposite sex designations. I think the law needs to be much more interested in why these changes in ID are requested.

Agree that something needs to be done to legislate against this.

It makes a total mockery of safeguarding laws.

If we are going to make it easy for men to change their names and falsify passports then surely we can also make it easy for new identities to follow the crime to protect society from sex offenders?

The GRA needs to be repealed in its entirety. No more falsifying of birth certificates or any government documentation in all countries that have passed GRA legislation.

Cases like this are one of the many, many reasons why we need national ID cards. I find it very suspicious how many men so fiercely opposed this when Blair's government tried to introduce them.

I'm struggling to think of any good reasons for ID cards. Records of everyone's previous identity have been kept on file. I don't think this person even has a GRC, he just self identifies as a woman and changed his name.
