This link is for a thread on the 'Your Ideas for Change' section on the NHS Facebook messenger stream regarding the Cass report. I thought people on here might like the opportunity to add their opinions.

Reading the very first paragraph made me laugh out loud 🤣

The Cass Report has been widely discredited. Doctors are against it and top universities all over the world, including Ivy League colleges in America, have called it out for being unscientific and biased. It is wrong to base medical knowledge and the future of trans care on a report that interviewed people from the Catholic Church, went to America and talked to known anti trans hate groups and had many people who were previously anti trans on its board.

…and the comments are only to be expected.

Absolute bloody embarrassing indictment of our education system 🤦🏻‍♀️

Though tbf I’m sure there are plenty of buckeejits posting from the US 🙄 (Not picking on Americans generally, but American TRAs are prone to trying to brigade UK consultations - a load of responses to parliamentary ones have had to be sifted out for that reason. Can ye imagine the outrage if British TERFs tried influencing legislation in the US? I mean, rightly so, we’ve no business meddling - but the fecking nerve of them to spam the House of Commons 😡🤬).
