Oh dear - what really strange responses!
For a forum where many nit pick about language I was pointing out what on one level is hysterically funny that an even is proudly announced as "Women Only" and then goes on to contradict itself by the endless list of everything else.
There are in fact many RTN marches most of which are no longer women only - but they dont lie about it.
What mind set is it that thinks they can so blatantly lie.
There is nothing wrong with being truthful and saying trans inclusive.
And whilst this is only a march, it is exactly this deliberate duplicity with language that has lead to the situation in for example ERCC.
Makes you think it is being organised by silly school girls or students.
Well it is Nottingham.
This is because Nottingham Women's Centre became will known for pushing the TWAW and being inclusive. And at the time it first started doing this many were shocked.
But I suppose now it is just standard.
Again those who for some reason have chosen not to understand, I dont think lying when you are supposedly supporting the cause to stop violence against women makes you very credible. Or respectful of women.
And as this is FWR known for supporting gender crtical feminism, how would anyone be surprised that I should question this misuse of language that has been so much part of attacking women's sex based rights.
