What is a woman? This now highly controversial issue will be decided in November by the highest court in the land.

Five senior judges will sit in the quiet, restrained atmosphere of Court One in the Supreme Court in Parliament Square, impervious to the placards and banners of any protesters outside.

Yup. I’ve always found it particularly galling that when they amended the GRA they specifically excluded women who change their legal sex from inheriting titles even if older than their brothers AND ensured that men who change their legal sex still inherit titles which go down the male line.

And why do these 5 so called ‘justices’ get to ‘decide what constitutes a woman’?

It’s the easiest exam question of all time.. Are we paying for this deliberation / consultation / fudging of science?

The question is who are they to tell us what they pretend to think, and why. Unless of course they decide that biological sex tells us everything we need to know, in which case they are exceedingly clever good job well done.
