27% increase in "female" sex offenders

Well ladies remember how we all warned people in power that allowing the police and crts to record males and their crimes as females and female crimes. The new figures from the home office has some startling results with a huge increase in both sex crimes and violent crimes, however the Westminster government claims its because the tories increased police numbers by 20000 and nothing to do with the recording of gender rather than sex 🤔

If it was simply down to an increased number of police officers, you would expect numbers of arrests to increase, but not for women to suddenly commit more violent and sexual crimes.

I think we all know the main reason for this rise, though a secondary reason might be that women who are given testosterone also move towards more male-type criminality. Chances are, as they are women, they might be counted as such statistically, as women are less respected than men in general.

27% is quite a jump! I hope they investigate why this has happened.

I'd hope so but I very much doubt that this labour government will want to open that particular can of worms though

Before I began reading about women’s rights, I had no idea just how stark the difference between men’s offending and women’s offending is.

I am going to quote the figures for prisoners in England and Wales here, in case there are others who are still not aware.

Current prison population for men: 84,596
Current prison population for women: 3,638

So to cause a 27% rise in women’s crime rates, only 1.1% of male prisoners would need to falsely claim they are women.

Of course women are committing more violent crimes - don't you know that calling a man who says he's a woman 'male' is 'literal violence '?

In all seriousness though, recording crimes incorrectly could surely have a bit impact on the statistics, which in turn could have an impact on HOW they decide to deal with it, which is likely to be totally the wrong approach.

I wonder how many rapes have suddenly been committed by women.. that will provide a solid answer as rapes can only be committed by males by definition.

The figures were released just two days after Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood unveiled plans to slash the number of women in jail, as she insisted ‘prison isn’t working’ for female offenders.

While I agree with this for women, it might be used as literal get-out-of-jail free for sex-offending males.

Shabana Mahmood will sort this. She knows there are women and ‘women’. I think she attended a LWD event at the Lab conference

The 25/26 Scottish crime stats might help as men can no longer self id as women when it comes to sexual offences or rape (they still can for all other offences) and will always be recorded in police files as males, from now on. However, as this change is happening 1/2 way through the 24/25 collection period, we will have to wait to see the difference. Hopefully, it will be glaringly obvious to everyone that we can either have accurate stats by correctly recording the sex of perpetrators or the complete nonsense that comes from recording self declared gender
