I'm talking about the letter they sent to EU and UK users.
I responded to mine and they wrote back confirming my choices.
It mentions it at the bottom. Mumsnet while used globally is still a UK site.
"In June 2024, Meta announced that until June 26, 2024, European users of Facebook and Instagram would have the option to opt out of having their posts used for training Meta's AI models. This opt-out feature was part of Meta's compliance with stricter data protection regulations in the European Union."

The UK essentially still has the same data protection laws as the EU though?

And I don't understand the link to MN as MN isn't a meta site, unlike FB or instagram.
